Hi again.
I’m Grant.
Dog person. Photographer. Software developer. At home in the High Desert.

Dogs have always
been part of my life.
Since I was a baby, really. I’ve shared my life with little dogs, big dogs, rescue dogs, and more than a few very individual personalities.
There have been Weimaraners, Cavaliers, Jack Russells, pit bulls, German Shepherds, Dachshunds, and mixed breeds—including Basil, my Chow–Collie mix. These days, it’s Puccini the Chihuahua and Risotto the Maltipoo. My shepherd Charlie is no longer with us, but he’ll always be part of my story.
When I’m not caring for dogs, I’m a photographer and software developer. I like making things, getting to know people, and having dogs around while I do it.
Your dog gets to be themselvesTell me the quirks.
They matter.
I want to hear what your dog is actually like. What makes them nervous. What they’re like on a leash. What helps them settle. What they absolutely must sniff on a walk.
I have experience with anxious and reactive dogs, including a client’s highly reactive Chihuahua and sensitive rescue pit bull. We’ll talk openly about your pet’s needs, handling, and any medication requirements before deciding on care.
You can read Caroline’s experience in her own words.
And the rest of the householdI love cats, too. I had a cat named Creek and have lived with several other cats I loved deeply. I also have some experience with small reptiles and birds, including parrots. Tell me about your pet and the care they need.
Got a dog I should meet?
Tell me who they are and what you have in mind.
