How do we get started?
Text me your pet’s name, your town, and the dates or schedule you have in mind. You can also schedule an introduction, call (951) 494-0080, or use the care-note form to gather your details.
Can we meet before arranging care?
Let’s talk first and arrange an introduction that works for us. It’s a chance to go over your pet’s routines and handling needs, and see whether we’re a good fit. We’ll confirm the meeting details and any applicable fee directly.
My dog is anxious or reactive. Can we talk?
Absolutely. I have experience with dogs who need extra patience. Tell me about their triggers, leash behavior, handling preferences, and what helps them settle. Please include any bite or escape history so we can make an informed decision about care.
How do you plan around desert weather?
We’ll discuss the timing, route, length of the walk, shade, and your dog’s comfort. Hot weather may mean a different time or an adjusted visit. Tell me about any health or mobility needs that affect their time outside.
What about medication or special care?
Send me the specific requirements before booking, including the medication, timing, and how it’s given. I’ll confirm whether I can accommodate your pet’s needs before we agree on care.
What should we arrange for emergencies?
Before care begins, we’ll go over your veterinarian’s details, an emergency contact, and your instructions. Please flag any medical conditions or other concerns during our care conversation.
What does an overnight stay include?
Overnight care starts at $75/night for one dog and covers up to 12 hours in your home, including evening and morning routines. An additional dog is +$10/night. Extra daytime visits are separate; continuous care needs a separate quote.
Do you care for cats or other pets?
I love cats and have some experience with small reptiles and birds, including parrots. Tell me about your pet and their routine so I can confirm whether I’m the right fit.
Where do you offer care?
Palm Springs, Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree, Twentynine Palms, Landers, and Pioneertown. Share your town or neighborhood so we can confirm availability and any travel costs. More about the service area.
What about cancellations and holidays?
We’ll confirm the cancellation terms, holiday availability, and any additional charges before your booking. Tell me if your dates are flexible or your plans might change.
Does the calendar or care note book pet care?
The calendar schedules a time to get acquainted. The care-note form helps you prepare a message, which you send through your own text or email app. Pet-care dates, price, and arrangements are confirmed with me directly.
